Working under the Direction of Warehouse Department Supervision, perform duties to include :
- Safely load trailers with the correct product, in the correct quantities, in a timely manner.
- Load product in a manner that will cause it to reach the customer in good condition.
- Pull product off of production line and properly stock merchandise in the warehouse.
- Move product from factories to export warehouse
- Assist in loading DHL Shuttles
- Rotate stock accurately by code date.
- Achieve performance levels as set by Warehouse Department.
- Accurately count and receive finished product, including returns from the NDC
- Perform inventory verification through cycle counting as required.
- Mark receivers, showing number of cases received and other information.
- Work overtime as needed to complete loading trailers, stocking product, maintaining acceptable levels of sanitation and other departmental or job related duties.
- Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspection.
- Complete and submit required paperwork thoroughly, accurately and timely.
- Keep loading areas clean and orderly at all times and perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Participate in all scheduled TPM activities.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
In addition to the above duties, this position requires the following qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and certificate of good conduct with detailed background check.
- Capability of operating the Company yard tractor in a safe, timely and responsive manner.
- Ability to demonstrate the skills and abilities necessary to safely operate all plant lift equipment.
- Have current forklift operator certification or successfully pass written and driving tests for forklift operator certification.
- Ability to accurately count and identify product, and segregate orders received or needed for loading.
- Ability to perform cycle counts accurately and timely.
- Ability to accurately count, receive and store finished goods, packaging material, ingredients and miscellaneous items delivered to the facility.
- Ability to manually move and stack material weighing up to 3 tons
- Ability to routinely perform work in an a cold chain environment
