Main Purpose of the Job
The main objective of the job is to ensure availability of finished goods, in addition to securing export requirements.
In the area of Supply planning, the incumbent ensure that the factory/ies are producing products, promotions and innovations according to the market requirements and ensures that all materials are available to conduct the planned production.
In the area of innovation management, the incumbent handles all projects related to new launches and re launches pertaining to the site innovations, which, main role is to ensure that new innovations hits the market as per the agreed time.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Network Planning:
Review of SNP outputs ( Running of Supply Planing meetings )
Fully responsible for stocks conformance at all ESA DC’s with an exception of k402.
Responsible for the rough cut capacity plan and ensure that adequate investments are done to secure the required customer service level. This is in accordance to RCDSR
Understands and influences planning parameter assumptions
e.g. changeover times,OR etc
Contributes to costed contingency plans with the help of Finance e.g 3P sourcing
Lead innovations across the site.
Communicates the Master Production Schedule and consequences to the business.
PPDS:
Daily production scheduling.
Factory Calendar Maintenance ( Capacities, Holidays; Investment updates etc)
Follow up on weekly Outputs and closure of
process Orders
Fully responsible for TECO related activities
Confirmation of production orders on a weekly basis
General Reporting:-
Monthly Innovation update report-capacity wise
Monthly Innovation risk report –capacity wise
Monthly capacity planning tool
NRR,MPS,PCR,
Key Skills and Qualifications
University degree, Supply chain (APICS etc) qualification advantage
4-5 years’ experience in FMCG Supply Chain (Planning, Customer Service, Logistics)
Experience on SAP ERP, APO
Experience in managing 3PLs
Commercial acumen
Cross functional business process knowledge
People management
Exposure to Order to Cash, Requisition to payment cycle
