Main Purpose of the Job
The main objective of the job is to ensure availability of finished goods to deliver the desired service level in all markets. This is done by securing export requirements from SU factory and ensuring that the 3P transporter delivers the goods according to confirmed TLB. S/he needs to ensure delivery of high CCFOT at optimal costs for imported FG’s.
In the area of Supply planning, the incumbent ensure that the factory/ies are producing products, promotions and innovations according to the market requirements and ensures that stocks are being allocated to all markets according to S&OP and Inventory Planning model to ensure that agreed service level is achieved in all markets.
In the area of innovation management, the incumbent handles all stock deployment plan related to new launches and re launches pertaining to business agreed innovations, to ensure that innovations hits the market as per the agreed time.
Balancing CCFOT with optimizing Working Capital is one of the key challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Distribution Requirements Planning:
Review of TLB results and production plan to ensure that plan shared has confirmed stock
Fully responsible for stocks conformance at all ESA DC’s with an exception of bonded warehouse (k402).
Understands and influences planning parameter assumptions e.g. lead times to DC, minimum load quantities.
Manage innovations across the ESA DCs.
Communicates the change of barcodes, case configuration, pack size change to DCs
Compute landed costs for finished goods landing into DCs s/he is responsible for and communicating to the relevant stakeholders, finance, marketing, sales, MDM.
Fully responsible for the allocation of s tocks across all DCs on a weekly basis.
Ensure ICSA, ICQA and SLAs are in place with Unilever SU’s (Intercompany Sourcing Agreement/Intercompany Quality Agreement and Service Level Agreements).
Responsible for optimizing overall stock holding by using the AAC stock model for FGs into the specific ESA country
Drive Business Waste improvements in the area of Slow Moving and Obsolete Finished Goods. Timely reporting of any write off risks due to expiry
Ensure appropriate stock provisions are made in books for slobs. Ensure timely initiation of disposals to minimize losses.
Any other duties assigned by the supply planning manager from time to time.

IPM conformance
Stock risk report, overstock and under stock
Performance of 3P in delivering stock to DCs
NRR,
Key Skills and Qualifications
University degree, Supply chain (APICS etc) qualification advantage
4-5 years’ experience in FMCG Supply Chain (Planning, Customer Service, Logistics)
Experience on SAP ERP, APO
Experience in managing 3PLs
Commercial acumen
Cross functional business process knowledge
People management
Exposure to Order to Cash, Requisition to payment cycle
