Job Summary
Airtel Africa is rapidly expanding both in capacity and coverage across 17 countries of Africa. We are looking for one experienced SME who will be as Access Transport Solution (L-RAN and H-RAN) acting as Solution SPOC providing detailed technical solutions to Airtel’s GSM/WCDMA/LTE network stakeholders. The SME will also be responsible for solution roadmaps, products updates and/or services to Airtel OpCos.
The SME shall proactively support for establishment and improvement of business for the respective products or services. Responsible for supporting Airtel Africa CU, i.e. Key Account Management in generating short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson by working closely with or as part of the Core3 teams in sales, design and delivery of customer projects, and in technical problem solving to translate identified opportunities into detailed technical offering, and proposals.
Responsibilities & Tasks
- Act as Subject Matter Expert in Access Transport technologies, product/service or solutions delivery to Airtel Africa
- Act as SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) for Access Transport solution for Airtel Africa
- Work with sales/engagement practice team to develop and build value argumentation
- Advice in preparation for solution life cycle management
- Support deployment of solution by analyzing legacy transmission networks
- Participate in knowledge transfer and information sharing
- Share information about Ericsson solutions to educate customers

- 8-10 years of experience in transmission solution, product management
- Hands-on skills to create BOQ in Verdi using EPC
- Hands-on skills to create solution description

- Capable to work on demand basis in dynamic, multi-tasking with good flexibility
- Capable to handle work-load during RFP time
- Willing to travel on demand basis
