Role Objective: The job holder will be responsible for the development and performance of sales activities and work towards achievement of growth and profitability in the same. He/ She will be responsible for the growth of Domain, hosting and software sales.
1) Effectively maintains and retains existing customers by building long-term relationships
2) Identifying, meeting new clients, arranging meetings and closing sales. Builds customer base by meeting with potential clients and educating them on the benefits and functionality of our products.
3) Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within specified time-frame.
4) Participates in continued education to learn about new products and improved sales techniques.
5) Tracks personal sales statistics and submits them to Chief Business Officer for periodic reviews.
6) Timely preparation and response to tender/RFQ/RFI/EOI, pre-qualifications and RFPs.
7) Timely preparations of sales reports (weekly, monthly and quarterly).
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in IT sales
- Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Business Management with any extra IT related field qualification. A degree is an added advantage
- Experience in marketing IT solutions for small or large organizations is a MUST
- Experience in client and or supplier relationship management.
- Proven salesmanship.
- Individuals with self-drive and self-initiation competencies.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
