Kisii County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following positions in:
Finance and Economic Planning Department:
County Deputy Director Finance
Job Group “Q”

The County Deputy Director, Finance will be responsible to the Director, Finance for the efficient management of financial services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review of financial transactions and enforce compliance with standard accounting systems and fiscal procedures;
- Assist in compilation of annual budget;
- Supervises and monitors all expenditures and disbursements in accordance with budget appropriations;
- Prepares and submits financial statements and reports to the finance committee and departmental heads;
- Establish and maintain a fiscal control system for all contracts that authorize the payment or receipt of money by the county;
- Attend meetings to report on policy budgetary, risk management and related issues;
- Establishment of short and long-term financial plans.
Requirements for Appointment:
- Be a Kenyan citizen;
- Have served for at least 3 years in a challenging public service or private sector organisation;
- Have a Masters of Commerce (finance option ) degree or an equivalent relevant degree, CPA (K), ACA OR CFA;
- Be registered with ICPAK or ACCA or CFA;
- Show exemplary leadership qualities;
- Satisfy the requirement of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
