Position: Sales Representative

Reporting to the Sales Operations Coordinator.
Job Description: This position is critical in ensuring the creation of demand and increase in market share for company products.
The Sales Representative will be responsible to the Sales Operations Coordinator for executing sales strategies in area of operation.
Specific duties and responsibilities will entail
- Marketing and promoting company products to existing and upcoming markets;
- Visiting outlets in the region assigned to ensure Longhorn books are prominently displayed;
- Gathering market responses and feedback on Company products and forwarding the same to your supervisor;
- Identifying sales opportunities and advising on the same for necessary action;
- Preparing field work programmes in conjunction with the supervisor;
- Preparing and submitting weekly, monthly and termly reports;
- Making trade visits to customer outlets, shelf reading and originating orders;
- Participating in debt collection;
- Addressing customer needs so as to ensure effective customer service; and
- Training and working with shop attendants to foreground Longhorn products to their customers.
Job Specifications
For appointment to this position of, one must have:
- Relevant experience of two (2) years in sales or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Bachelors degree in Education or Commerce or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
