Our Client, a 5 star hotel in Kuwait is seeking to recruit Waiters and Waitresses Requirements
- Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
- Collect payments from customers.
- Write patrons’ food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
- Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
- Check patrons’ identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
- Clean tables or counters after patrons have finished dining
- Serve food or beverages to patrons, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required.
- Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a valid Passport
- Must hold a certificate or Diploma in Food & Beverage.
- Basic knowledge of Foods and Beverages
- Should have at least 1 year experience in the Hotel industry.
- Must be able to withstand long periods of time on their feet
- Professional and friendly. (Even in tough situations)
- Team player.
- Effective communication skills with guests and staff.
- Quick thinking.
- Ability to lift heavy trays filled with glassware/food.
- Basic math skills.
- Great attention to detail.
