Job Title: Web Designer Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the company website.
- Conduct pro-active audits and tests of the website to ensure quality and accuracy of content and proper functionality.
- Support additional projects and platforms as necessary
- Assist in determining assignments, help set priorities, monitor progress, and report on progress in meeting establishing milestones and deadlines.
- Performing any other duties and responsibilities as shall be bestowed from time to time.
- Be able to perform administrative and logistics work
Job Specifications:
- A mature and ethical individual.
- Experience with content and knowledge management process creation and/or optimization/strong creative skills
- good problem-solving skills and a logical approach to work
- the ability to explain technical matters clearly to people who may have little knowledge of IT
- Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as Php, MySQL, CMS, Joomla Drupal Word + and Linux
- Excellent working knowledge of SEO and website security with insight into the latest development in SEO and website security tools is mandatory
- Strong entrepreneurial skills, innovative thinker and motivated person who are results oriented.
- Demonstrated skills in problem solving.
- Must have a degree or Diploma in Information technology or Computer Science.
- Must have an understanding of software functionality as well as graphic design skills to create successful Web pages.
- Quick learner, ability to learn new technologies.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality work.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Must have skills in administrative work and logistics.
