Summary: The role entails the provision of User support,basic network management and windows server management.
Job Description:
- User support and client OS management (Windows 7,windows 8,mac os x)
- Active directory management as well as managing the printer management server (This entails creating new users,resetting passwords,deploying applications through group policies).
- Management of the local area network as well as the all the internet links from different ISPs (The customer infrastructure is on cisco,they have a cisco router as well as a Cisco switch used to connect the LAN users)
- Hardware support on laptops and desktops
- User support on different applications that ran on the LAN.
- Provision of technical support on new service deployments.
- Deployment and Management of VoIP Handsets
Required:
- A degree in Information technology or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years working experience in a busy user support environment
- Fluency in English
