Brand Manager Job in Kenya 2015

An organization, whose purpose is to transform African Businesses into Global Brands through innovation, strategy and business alignment, is looking to recruit a Brand Manager .



Reporting To:
Strategy Director
Overall Job Purpose: The position ensures profitability by enhancing brand visibility acquired through brand management & marketing activities.



Duties and Responsibilities


  • Leading the strategic planning process for the assigned brands based on key consumer insights to enhance current portfolio and improve communication with consumers.

  • Initiating and implementing marketing activities for the assigned brand to enhance visibility and client acceptability, leading to increased revenue.

  • Monitoring and analyzing brand performance (consumer diagnostics, profitability, etc.) against competition, and presenting the performance to management.

  • Design & Implement the marketing plans by working with internal and external suppliers to deliver in a timely manner and on budget.

  • Work with designers to produce materials of visual impact & within brand guidelines



Minimum Qualifications



  • Degree in Marketing, Communications Management, PR or related field

  • A minimum of three (3) years experience in Marketing

  • Project Management Skills

  • Have an understanding of change and communications management principles and methodologies
