Export Sales Manager
Export Sales Job Summary
Our client is a leading food processing company in Kenya. They seek to hire a Marketing Manager.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Export Manager will be responsible for establishing and developing a business plan for export, to create sustainable growth in chosen markets for all company products.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor the current markets and prepare a business plan to identify and develop new sales opportunities for the export of domestic and commercial products
- Develop and drive export sales activity by considering the sales offer and evaluating potential in international markets
- Direct and implement the sales, service and distribution of products in export market to meet customer requirements.
- Plan, directs and coordinates development of sales objectives, strategies, advertising and promotional programs and ensures their execution for export sales.
- Ensure adherence to country specific importation legislation and work to improve the organization’s international competitive advantage
- Execute marketing efforts and reaching regular sales targets by carrying out market research activity in chosen export markets
- Achieve pre-defined sales targets.
- Work with the Marketing Department to develop appropriate marketing materials for an international audience.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor activity reports.
Adept Systems Export Sales Job Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field; Masters Degree is an added advantage
- Minimum of two years of relevant sales experience, including a track record of international sales success, to include setting up international markets (FMCG)
- Understand complexity of supply chain activities and the most appropriate distribution channels in key export markets
- Excellent communication skills, entrepreneurial, self‐motivated with strong problem‐solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Cross-cultural awareness
