Position Title: IT Project Manager

Ref: SS236395 Participate in analysis, requirement gathering, & preparation of specifications of Back end solution

Salary Range: 100,000 – 300,000 Gross per Month

Competencies




  • PMP or PRINCE II Certification – Project Managed 2 large Projects with multicultural participants

  • Excellent communications skills (Written and Oral)

  • BSc. MIS / IT / Computer Science.


Responsibilities


  • Review and approve all project deliverables (Initiation Plan, Detailed Plan, Testing etc.)

  • Provide overall project oversight, overseeing solution development progress of all track

  • Ensures business and functional decisions are made to ensure technical development progress and completion

  • Work with Change Manager to develop change management plan, roll out plan, and related deliverables

  • Deliver project communications and conduct other project readiness activities

  • Escalate issues to sponsor when necessary

  • Report on project status to key groups and individuals (Sponsor, Steering Committee etc.)

  • Ensure the project is initiated against a plan

  • Gain buy-in from key stakeholders and keep their interest and level involvement right throughout the project

  • Keep stakeholders and resources informed of what is happening with the project

  • Measure the performance of the project. Know how the project is performing against milestones, time frames, deliverables, budget and resources

  • Sign off on deliverables

  • Participate in requirements gathering IT Applications/Software

  • Participate in analysis, requirement gathering, & preparation of specifications of Back end solution

  • Provide business expertise, insight, requirement regarding processes and system design

  • Identify improvement opportunities

  • Identify reporting requirements

  • Identify security/ access requirements

  • Define test case scenarios

  • Create and approve test plans

  • Oversees test progress related to ISR Track

  • Define As-is and To-be Process. Discuss and agree way forward with business user

  • Provide user acceptance testing support

  • Participate in the development and implementation of change management and roll out plan

  • Facilitate the IQ related data as required (Historical Sales, define IQ pack)

  • Work with Change Management Lead and Sales operation to ensure the new ways of working is embedded in day to day operation.

  • The PM should be someone with a combination of a good technical back ground and strong leadership skills

  • Ability to define and implement project strategy, by managing budgets, schedules, resources and risks

  • Good stakeholder management skills

  • A delivery track record

  • Experience working with different stakeholders especially across different geographic regions

  • Ability to navigate his/her way through obstacles to achieve results.

  • Someone who is self-driven

  • Excellent communication skills
