Marketing Assistant – Tanzania
Job Overview: To ensure smooth and efficient operations of the Marketing department by coordinating and cooperating within department and between departments to ensure that Marketing service are achieved according to Company’s policies and procedures To assist the Marketing Manager and, or Director with any issues related to the Marketing Department
Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate the policy to staff and stake holders by use of all forms of media and communications
- Research and write press releases on issues and ensure that they reach the targeted audience
- Prepare publicity brochures, hand-outs, promotional videos that will serve to reach the companies policies to the public
- Maintain the companies local website and intranet
- Organize press conferences, exhibitions and press tours
- Form a bridge/relationship with local media houses and relevant organizations
- Draft answers to all questions relating to the companies strategies
- Maintain the company’s corporate image and identity
- Prepare an in-house newsletter
- Drive the companies CSR initiatives
- Ensure branding and visibility of the Company
- Attend other duties as may be assigned by the supervisors
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Marketing
- At least 5 years experience in Marketing and Branding
- Experience gained working in Tanzania will be an added advantage
