- Field sales skills in fmcg, telcoms or agribusiness
- Retail shop management skills; including working with POS systems and stock management software.
- Fluent in Business English and Kiswahili: written and spoken.
- Fluent communicator in any of local languages spoken in Kenya
- Be computer literate; can solve basic computing problems and is able to use tablets/ smartphones on the go.
- Key Account/ Corporate management pedigree will be a distinct advantage.
- Knack for business development and energy to walk, ride and drive as and when necessary.
- Well organized with recce-grade precision, attention to details and thoroughness.
- With a long term interest in developing a career in social enterprises with triple bottom line: people, profits and environment.
- Someone driven by results; can work smart (fewer hours) or hard (long hours) as the circumstances dictate to achieve the objectives.
- Strong personality who can defend decisions firmly and factually.
