Main Responsibility Area
Sales and marketing support via wide technical sub-system level expertise and good internal/external business understanding. Providing viable business solutions to customers and demonstrating their value. Handling complex problems and/or co-ordinating work which may extend beyond own area of expertise. Sharing expertise. Anticipating client needs, investigating underlying causes and identifying short and longer-term solutions; creating and leading business development.
Position Description
The Customer Solution Manager (CSM) is the customer interface within the customer team (CT) for all key solutions and product offers. He/She is responsible for proactively promoting Nokia solutions to key customers in line with the CT’s efforts, for identifying customer needs and opportunities, and should be a source of overall expertise and solution competency, actively creating business opportunities.

Key tasks of the Customer Solution Manager within the Solution Sales Management organization include:
• Identify & qualify Nokia opportunities in co-operation with CT, in alignment with Nokia and customer technology strategies.
• Match customer needs with Nokia products/systems/services and translate technical solutions to clear customer value and benefits.
• Sales support and sales case ownership for opportunities within the CT, including solution selling with proactive value argumentation
• Lead a team of Solution Sales Managers to create solution portfolios for the customer(s) as may be required.
• Build strong customer relationships with customer organizations in line with the CT Head and Acct Manager.
• Define and document technical customer solution, respond to technical parts of tenders and prepare solution pricing.
• Arrange technical customer workshops and participate in negotiations.
• Can assume the role of Bid Manager where necessary.
• Configuration of network elements for tendering, contracting and implementation
Experience in or Solid understanding of:
• Radio Access solutions and or Transmisssion Technologies and or GSM Core Network and or any other relevenat technology knowledge
• Solution selling & Value Argumentation
• Solution building
• Presenting and communicating with customers
• Business insight
• Creating business cases
• Persuading and influencing to increase sales and proactively promote business solutions for all portfolios
Position Requirements
Technical studies at University level (min B.Sc.) with 7-10 years of working experience in the telecommunication industry.
