Vacancy: Assistant Logistics Manager Our Client is an integrated transit company located in Mombasa with over 70 trucks.
Due to expansion and growth, they are looking to fill this position. Key Responsibilities
- Source for cargo and allocate trucks both local and transit.
- Follow up on documentation.
- Tracking of trucks.
- Fuel issuance.
- Prepare delivery notes and local purchase orders.
- Debtors follow up.
- Attend to daily logistics issues.
- Checking of invoices
- Clients/customers truck allocations.
- Prepare profit and loss reporting for each truck.
- Daily updates of trips, diesel and other expenses.
Desired Education Background, Experience, Competencies and Skills;
- A Diploma in logistics.
- Computer knowledge.
- Knowledge in tracking of trucks.
- Excellent communication skills.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a transport company.
