Our client, one of the leading largest dairy farms in Kenya seeks to recruit a Production Maintenance Deputy Supervisor to give the company the desired direction to realizing its full potential in the Kenyan Market. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Responsible for resolving equipment problems and repairs Assist root cause analysis on critical equipment or component failures. Provide technical recommendations for continuous improvement in plant production processes Reporting to Maintenance Manager Supervise team leaders, trainers, and associates to meet production goals by communicating: job expectations; production plans, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates Maintain staff by, selecting, orienting, training and developing associates to meet production goals and personal growth opportunities. Maintain work flow by: establishing cycle times and overall equipment effectiveness; monitoring steps of the process to ensure cycle times are achieved; monitoring control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; completing production reports; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. Qualification and Experience. Must have at least 5 years experience as Plant Maintenance Supervisor or related experience in Food Manufacturing. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is ideal Must be able to monitor productivity and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Experience with Cleaning in Olace (CIP) , Pasteurizer , Heat Exchangers , Valves (APV,ALFA LAVAL) Pumps and Homogenizers Tanks and Agitators, Knowledge with pressure transmitter, sensors,Basic PLC and Frequency Drive Controller.
