Job Objectives
To ensure quality products are efficiently produced per plan with optimal utilization of assets and human resources.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manufactured quality product through production teams
- Maximize efficiencies
- Maximized yields
- Executed production plan
- Ensured quality product
Manage & Develop Staff
- Staff performance managed
- Develop people through programs such as:
- Skills development
- Technical training
- People Plan
- Coaching & Mentoring
- Recruit, select and retain staff
- Develop and retain talent
Strategy formulated and managed through continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify most value-adding opportunities.
Implement applicable continuous improvement programmes i.e. TPM, OE, etc.
Identify benchmarks and best practices.
Set goals and targets for improvement.
Ensure sustainability of all initiatives.

- Maintained KORE System i.t.o:

Managing Costs
- Formulate budget
- Manage budget through RE process
- Monitor & manage:
- Production Variances
- Production Overheads
- COE (budget control)
- Manage working capital
- Manage capex
Managing Assets
- All Machines and equipment in production are maintained.
- Ensure maintenance plan is executed as per plan
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing management role, with minimum 3 years in a bottling or food processing plant.
Skills And Certification:
- Minimum of a 4 year tertiary qualification in Food Science & Technology or Engineering degree
- MBA would be ideal
