Job Description:
Key Purpose of the Role:
Coordinating all dispatch operations/logistics at Athi River by achieving minimum loading time for customer trucks and ensuring proper maintenance of STOCKS in the sales storage locations.
Key Responsibilities / Deliverables:
Coordinating of inbound and out bound logistics for all finished goods (coils & sheets) at Athi River and verifying them against consignment records
Systematic plan on loading of trucks via use of material handling equipments where possible & excellence customer service as per agreed SLA’s.
Ensure accurate receipt of finished goods from production and storage of the same
Management of Finished Goods STOCK accuracy by ensuring no stock variances between physical and SAP system.
Overseeing the monthly stock taking exercise
Dispatch manpower supervision and proper coordination of loading shifts
Recording and maintaining data related to the day’s work load such as delivery confirmations, mechanical breakdowns, turnaround time and any expenses incurred.
Ensuring outgoing shipments are in good condition and meet specifications
Organizing the dispatch of goods with complete documentation.
Maintaining prescribed records of goods received and dispatched.
Managing the dispatch vehicle delivery schedules, timely service and maintenance in good mechanical condition.

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum academic qualification: Higher Diploma in Business Management or equivalent
Qualifications as an added advantage: Professional training in logistics
Professional registration: Not necessary
General work experience (years): 2 yrs
Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): 1 years
