Chef de Partie (Baker) Job in Nairobi Kenya

Vacancy: Chef de Partie – Baker

Purpose: The purpose of the job is to make breads and other baked food stuffs. The Ideal candidate must have experience in a luxury / international standard hotel and able to delight customers through quality standards.



Duties


  • Excellent preparation and presentation of baked foods.

  • Training junior kitchen staff members.

  • Ensure the kitchen remains clean and organized at all times.

  • Perform various administrative duties.

  • Develop test and cost new menu items and give advice

  • Supervise preparation of all bakery items.

  • Regularly supervise the quantity and quality of bakery items.



Qualifications



  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a recognized hotel.

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of health & safety measures.

  • Must have inventory Control skills.

  • Must be detail orientated.

  • Must be committed to excellent customer service.

  • Must have excellent communication & organizational skills.

  • Presentable / well groomed

  • Diploma in Food Production-Preferably from Utalii college/ Top Chef
