Description.
As a Web developer intern, you will get hands-on experience and improve your web design and coding skill set. Our fast-paced environment trains you for the real world and allows you to better your understanding of how web design in the advertising world works.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining / updating websites
- Creating new websites
- Quality assurance of own work, code testing, cross browser testing, etc.
- Website Code Optimization
- Strong knowledge of today’s website standards
- Strong knowledge of: HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, MySQL, MSSQL & JavaScript/jQuery,
- The ability to hand write HTML and debug most types of code
- Experience with CMS (Joomla, Drupal, and WordPress necessary)
- The want to learn and implement new technologies such as HTML5 & CSS3
- Develop mobile applications
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy and implementation
- Research, identify and establish partnerships with authoritative web sites for link-building.
- Top-to-bottom management of SEO campaigns; generating ranking reports, conducting site audits, handling client concerns, etc.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in Marketing Department meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Request & analyze vender quotes & estimates
- Work with production staff to ensure work is generated correctly
REQUIREMENT
Applicant must possess programing skills with HTML, CSS, PHP & JavaScript and strong desire to produce quality client websites with a do what it takes attitude.

- Strong creative skills, with a clearly defined design point of view
- Portfolio of previous work required
- Project management skills including organizing and managing multiple projects
- Ability to multi-task and take direction in a team environment

Description
Fixxit is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Support Intern to primarily learn and perform functional duties for IT support. The function of the IT Support Intern is to provide technical support and assistance across the various teams within the company, developing the skills and capabilities they will need to perform as a full-time employee within the information technology field.
This will be accomplished by working on various projects and assignments as directed by Fixxit support of on-going IT operations. Exposure to multiple areas within IT (Help Desk, Applications, Managed IT Services and network Infrastructure) will be part of the Internship experience. The IT Internship can fulfill a requirement necessary for completion of a degree program.
