Position Description
Be the leading SDM Expert for the SES Technical Experts Group in MEA
Support projects as well as customer escalations for all Nokia SDM projects across MEA
• Excellent theoretical and hands-on knowledge of Nokia SDM projects, including One-NDS, One-EIR, One-HLR, NT-HLR, HSS, IMS, PCRF, One AAA and NetAct.
• Flexibility to travel and support projects across the Middle East and Africa
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent Troubleshooting skills
• Highly customer focussed
Key responsibilities will include:
• Support installation and commissioning of Nokia SDM products
• Provide basic planning support for Nokia SDM products
• Support auditing of Nokia SDM products
• Work on RCA and supporting product fault finding
• Support with the development of RSO and local project resources on Nokia SDM products
• Technical end to end support for customer networks across MEA
• Key interface towards the Customers as well as NSN product-line/global support for MEA
• Provide proactive maintenance service support and delivery
• Support change management service delivery
• Knowledge on Resolve tool/Advantage commander will be an added advantage
• Cisco and Unix/Linux certification will be an added advantage
Position Requirements
Min. 5 years Network Planning & Optimization related experience
Technical Knowledge of Nokia SDM Products (One-NDS, One-EIR, One-HLR, NT-HLR, HSS, IMS, PCRF, One AAA)
Good understanding of IP Networks
Fluent with Unix/Solaris Operating OS (Sun, Linux)
Experience with NDS Database and LDAP
