Motor Vehicle Dealer Human Resource Manager Job in Nairobi, Kenya

We are looking to recruit a Human Resource Manager for our client, a motor vehicle dealer, in Nairobi, Kenya. Job Overview:The role is responsible for ensuring the organization has the right staff at the right place, at the right time with the right skills.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Organizational Structure and workforce planning

  • Labour relations

  • Staff policies adherence


Responsibilities


  • Support Line Managers with job design

  • Undertake manpower planning by continuously review and advise on recruitment and staffing needs

  • Support business development needs by undertaking competencies and skills gaps analysis through training needs assessment and consequent training plans formulation

  • Review staff risk matrix for formulate succession plans

  • Ensure relevant structures are in place to ensure high staff retention rates

  • Ensure compliance of all HR activities to best practices and relevant legislation

  • Ensure employee Health and safety

  • Manage the medical and Workmen Insurance Benefits

  • Oversee staff records maintenance and confidentiality

  • Guide and support Line Managers on staff policy matters and developments

  • Continuous review and documentation, implementation, management of employee related policies

  • Manage labor relations on issues related to union, disputes and grievances management

  • Ensure high employee morale and motivation through facilitating self development

  • Facilitate adequate and comprehensive communication between the Company and employees

  • Ensure relevant reports as per agreed timelines in all areas of HR

  • Prepare and track HR budgets

  • Review and advise on HR effectiveness based on market trends and demographics

  • Advise on salary increments based on performance and increments

  • Oversee end year HR audits

  • Lead on review of annual staff performance


Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree in HR, Humanities or relevant field

  • Post Graduate Diploma in HRM or equivalent

  • Over 5 years experience as HR Manager, interacting at senior level

  • Experience in talent management, executing strategies, commercial acumen and excellent people management skills

  • Experience with Balance Scorecard is an added advantage

  • An understanding of the global trends in managing employee contribution and HR practices

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, drive for results and a “can do attitude”
