The purpose of the role is to successfully lead due diligence, Transition and Operations start up support for identified key new MS opportunities in AMEA Market and contribute to overall growth of MS business at NSN.
Main Responsibility Area
The DD, Transition and Ops support Manager is desired to have a strong, proven understanding of overall MS Business, proven experience of handling DD support and Transition activities for new MS cases, deep understanding of efficient operations management, typical validations to be carried out during DD and transition phases and able to offer efficient start up operations support and therefore operate as a trusted MS scope advisor while driving service led sales growth and proposing differentiated apt solutions. The individual in the role is responsible for overall DD and Ops start up support for new MS cases within AMEA Market for assigned projects/opportunities and regions. The role is geared to individuals who are passionate, energetic, self driven, disciplined and team oriented with proven track record.
Position Description
- Deliver successful MS engagement in realizing DD, Transition and start up Ops support phase of key priority MS opportunities assigned contributing to realization of set business line targets.
- Develop, own, drive and maintain a strong engagement point with MS sales, CT teams for MS Services business within AMEA Market. Have a deeper understanding of efficient telecom operations processes.
- Contribute to Business Development and up-sell of service solutions from NSN’s MS portfolio offering’s
- Execute the identified NSN MS go-to-market strategy in the AMEA Market.
- Scope, identify, and propose new MS propositions to regional CSP customers while closely working with MS Solution Architects, engagement teams in both Regions or with Global.
- Work across other NSN Business line groups to ensure secure, smart and differentiated solutions are proposed to CSPs
- Engage with C-levels at CSPs to help define their MS strategy and propose efficient MS solutions
- Building and maintaining close relations with assigned clients
- Engage in a service and consultative led approach to establish trusted MS advisor status and grow strategically NSN MS business.
- Accumulate understanding of customer priorities and multi-vendor installed base. Identify key stakeholders in the customer organization.
- Liaise with NSN delivery organization to ensure successful delivery and execution of projects
Position Requirements
REQUIREMENTS (Primary Experience)
- Ability to lead and manage large complex DD, Transition and Operations start up support opportunities.
- Solid understanding of the regional CSPs and their business challenges.
- Sound Knowledge on solutions within the MS domain and offerings.
- 5+ years of strong DD, solutions support, Transition, Operations delivery and MS operations management experience with proven track record
- 10+ years of experience in Technical leadership positions, proven work experience in roles involving direct customer interface, DD, Transition, Ops support, MS delivery
- Extensive C-level customer facing and sales experience with the CSPs in the assigned region.
- Ability to build strong relationships with all levels of staff within NSN and customers
- Ability to work with 3rd party NSN partners/vendors to propose innovative solutions and services.
- International experience and cultural flair
- Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, collaboration with ability to get things done on time
