Marketing Manager Job Summary
Our client is a leading food processing company in Kenya. They seek to hire a Marketing Manager.
The Marketing Manager will develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. They will be also take responsibility for the effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
- Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities and staff
- Carry out market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
- Draw up and manage the marketing budget and deliver on marketing activities within agreed budgets.
- Develop a pricing strategy
- Periodically perform an analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
- Expand and develop marketing platforms
- Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
- Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
- Report on return on investment and key performance metrics
- Create marketing presentations
- Collaborate with the sales function
Adept Systems Marketing Job Education and Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree in Marketing/Commerce or related course from a recognized University
- Four years experience in Marketing from a reputable FMCG company.
- Have a deep understanding of FMCG sales and distribution.
- Experience and success in recruiting and retaining a high performance sales team.
- Proven experience in market research
- Good communicator – provides clear, concise written/verbal communications appropriate to the audience.
