Role Summary: Responsible for leading the culinary production in our brand’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding meals, customer service and financial profitability.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare fast foods
- Oversee food preparation process
- Work with the available systems and ensure set procedures are followed
- Adhere to existing rules and regulations in the industry
- Ensure all standards and procedures are implemented before anything leaves the kitchen
- Ensure daily and procedural checklists are filled
- Emphasis on Hygiene standards, food standards & individual station management
- Supervise all recipe preparations
- Ensure the atmosphere is inviting to customers
- Ensure the risk of food borne illness is decreased
- Ensure equipment operates efficiently
- Ensure equipment warranties retain validity
- Emphasis all food safety standards are adhered to.
- Excellent customer service
- Insist on production of “Eye Appeal” products
- Responsiveness to customer complaints
- Proper use and maintenance of decor
- Proper display of Point-of-Purchase materials
- Adequate lighting and climate control
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a diploma in Food & beverage
- 5 years’ experience in busy hotel
- Experience in a five star hotel is an added advantage
