Our client is a market leader in manufacturing of mattresses, beds and related accessories, who are looking to recruit a Head of Production , for their manufacturing function in Nairobi Kenya.
Position Overview: Reporting to the Managing Director, the position will oversee the manufacturing process and ensure that production lines are running smoothly and efficiently, to guarantee production within set timelines and quality for overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Ensure adequate staff management in relation to setting of targets, staff discipline, leave management and adequate address of staff issues.
- Provide production plans and budgets based on sound business forecasts.
- Overall responsibility of housekeeping, health and safety of staff in the workshop.
- Provide timescales for customer orders and ensure timely completion.
- Translate product sale projections into material requirements and requisitions to Procurement staff to ensure continuous production.
- Ensure availability and timely provision of raw materials and maintain an inventory of consumables.
