Little Steps, a Childcare Center for children 3 months to 5 years of age, is looking to fill the position of Care Givers (ECE Teachers).

ECE Teaching Job Objectives
- Implement curriculum to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children
- Engage children in positive conversation and age-appropriate development
- Ensure children are supervised at all times
- Monitor meal and snack time, guiding children in their eating abilities
- Potty train children and diaper children
- Oversee daily nap time
- Keep parents informed through standard written and oral in-person daily updates
- Ensure equipment and the facility are clean, well maintained and safe at all times
- Be familiar with emergency procedures and capable of carrying them out
Qualifications for ECE Teaching Jobs
- Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Development (ECD or ECDE) or Montessori required
- Formal experience taking care of children from newborns to 5 years required
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a grade of C+ or above required
- Certificate of Good Conduct required
- Fast, accurate typing ability and knowledge of computers required
- Must be enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly
- Oral, reading, and written fluency in English required
- CPR and First aid certification a plus
