is currently looking to recruit an
Assistant
Security Manager .
This role will help in overseeing the Security department of the hotel to ensure completion and compliance of all Company and hotel policies and procedures and regulation standards on safety and security. You will be responsible for the security and safety of the hotel’s premises and properties and ensure the overall safety of all guests and employees and their personal belongings. Your main responsibilities include but not limited to training or educating employees on current safety issues, security and fire protection to ensure compliance with all Company loss control policies; schedule preventative maintenance and repairs to Security equipment as needed and ensure that equipment is prepared and operational for the following day’s work.
Qualifications:
You will need to:
Bachelors Degree in Security Management.
Have a minimum of 3 years of hotel security experience in a similar capacity including supervisory experience.
Certified CPR, First Aid instructor and training in law enforcement techniques desired.
Have a working knowledge of local laws, investigation methods, OSHA requirements and fire codes and life safety codes is preferred.
You will bring with you strong management skills and ability to analyse cases, prepare action plans and communicate in written reports.
You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
