The Makueni Mixed Day and Boarding Primary School wishes to recruit a qualified and dedicated Head Teacher .
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Education degree or post graduate Diploma in Education. Previous S1or P1 qualifications could be a distinct added advantage
- A minimum of at least 5 years working experience as Head Teacher in a recognized institution of learning.
- Must be 40 years and above and of unquestionable integrity and behavioral record.
- Must have a proven track record of performance delivery as a teacher and as a leader in the institution(s) worked for.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, integrity and high sense of objectivity in performing as an individual and in ensuring the performance of workers in your jurisdiction.
- Excellent judgment and decision making abilities including strong analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to work in a highly demanding environment.
- Excellent communication skills with strong representation abilities.
- Be a team leader.
- Be sufficiently computer literate.
- Ability to articulate, interpret and implement policies and development goals of the Board of Directors.
- Should be familiar with Education Policies in Kenya and the TSC code of regulation.
