QuickBooks Support Assistant Job (20-25K)

Our client is one of the leading and trusted accounting and auditing firms in Nairobi, serving individual and corporate clients in various sectors. They seek to hire a QuickBooks support assistant. The ideal candidate must have a software installation background i.e. QuickBooks, ERP, etc.


QuickBooks Support Assistant Job Purpose



  • To support clients in installing the QuickBooks software and offer technical on call or site support.


Duties & Responsibilities



  • Installing and configuring QuickBooks

  • Monitoring and maintaining the installed soft wares

  • Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues

  • Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving software faults

  • Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports

  • Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system

  • Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs

  • Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)

  • Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time

  • Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, e.g., software developers


Desired Skills and Experience for QuickBooks Support Assistant



  • Diploma/ degree in relevant field

  • At least 2 years experience in software installation

  • Demonstrated interest in emerging trends in IT

  • Excellent Technical Skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize amongst competing demands

  • High attention to detail
