Cimbria East Africa is running an internship program in our mechanical department. We are currently recruiting two Self driven interns for a period of three months starting from 1st of February 2015..
Successful candidates will be based at our Nairobi office and will be given a small allowance to facilitate their transport .
Key Duties and responsibilities.
- Involvement in creation of drawings for assigned projects.
- Performs preventive/predictive maintenance procedures.
- Will be involved in fabrication at our workshop.
- Compiling of reports for various projects through coordination with the Workshop supervisor.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Workshop supervisor..
Academic Qualifications.
- Must be final year students
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering production option.
- Must have strong CAD / Inventor ability.
Key personal attributes:
- Ability to work independently but also enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Good report writing and presentation skills
- Be confident in design development.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and people management skills
- Excellent computer skills in various computer packages
- Ability and readiness to work under pressure.
