Airtel Kenya wishes to recruit a Regulatory Manager within the Corporate Affairs Division. The main purpose of the role is to obtain and maintain regulatory approvals and licences required for Airtel to operate, provide guidance and support to the implementation and maintenance of strategies and tactics needed for Airtel’s business.
Reporting to the Head of Regulatory, the incumbent’s role will include;
Obtaining and maintaining regulatory approvals and licences required for Airtel to operate
Establish regular contact with regulatory and governmental bodies
Maintain good working relationships with other operators
Identify opportunities and threats to Airtel’s operations and work with relevant stakeholders to develop actions to exploit the opportunities or mitigate the threats
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
5+ years experience with University Degree in law
At least 2 years leadership experience
Excellent knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the Operating Company and entire corporation
Able to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
IT literacy
Maintain confidentiality at all times
Able to operate in a performance driven organisation
